Jordan Anderson (1171) posted a perfect 3-0 score to win the Under 1400 tournament at the St Andrews Club.Six players competed with Drew Plyler (1180), Guna Yarramareddy (803) and Jared Whiting (780) all tying for second with 1.5 points.
The next St Andrews Tournament will begin on May 6. It will be a three round swiss, Game 45 for players rated Under 1400 or Unrated. Entry fee is $2, no prizes. Register by 6:45, rounds start at 7:00. You must be a USCF member to play in the rated tournament. Can join onsite.Casual play available also.
The Border Battle is being formed and will be in Cornelius, NC, just
above Charlotte, on July 13 & 14. Two players are needed for each
class: Expert (2000-2199) A (1800-1999) B (1600-1799) C (1400-1599) D (1200-1399) & E (1000-1199).
