Ten players tossed the wood around for Ashland Quick XVLII.
Other gathered in the skittles for lively discussion about the Laws of chess and life.
In the top quad, Adam Shaw played solidly to win with 2.5 points. David Stoner placed second with 2 points.
In the Swiss section, Ian Bell continued his winning ways by defeating all on-comers. Josh Goley placed second in the section with 2 points.

Monday May 4th GM Ben Finegold will be visiting Columbia, South Carolina to educate with a Chess Lecture and then play all comers in a simultaneous exhibition.
